I will not try and reinvent the wheel here. The websites listed in the left hand Menu column contain a tremendous amount of useful information. I wont try to condense or retype this information.

Growing Herbs for the most part is easy and they require little special care or attention. Many of our herbs originated in Southern Europe and are hardy weeds. Heat and drought tolerant.

<---- I have provided several good sources of information for your reading pleasure.

Indoor herb gardening does require more 'hands' on commitment to be successful. Meeting lighting, heat and water needs can be a real challenge for the indoor gardener. With that said, there have been a lot more herbs killed by over watering than under watering!

I have found a great website that has more information well organized and easy to access than most people care to know about herbs. Identifying, varities, growing conditions and so on. This is a great site. www.backyardgardener.com/herb Backyard Gardener
